Bioresearch & Biotechnology Center Inc. was established in April 2003 as limited liability cooperative from the idea of a pharmaceutical marketing expert and a teaching fellow, and from the merging of expertise and experience in different areas of seven other members.
The ambitious aim of Bioresearch & Biotechnology Center is to reduce, to eliminate the existing divide between education system and job market in research and phytotherapy area.
Soon Bioresearch & Biotechnology Center gets by MIUR the registration to National Research Registry Office. In this period Bioresearch & Biotechnology Center plays mainly consulting, collaborates with some research projects in phytotherapy, gets in touch with qualified Italian and foreign universities, signs MOUs and conventions with other research centers, and participates in national and international conferences.
It establishes a cooperative program with SIMN (Italian Society of Natural Medicine).
In this period some innovative formulations in the field of herbal medicine products (based on natural extracts) are developed and sold to leading companies for marketing.
In late 2007, Bioresearch & Biotechnology Center is taken over by the two founding partners and transformed into Ltd., for changing the bylaws relating to cooperatives, which are no longer suitable to the aims and work of the Company. In the meantime the company is joined by a biotechnologist, so resulting in a more youthful and dynamic Inc..
In 2009, the company signs a Memorandum of Understanding with the Popular University of NICOLAUS Studies (whose mission is to create clusters of high-level training, through collaboration with Universities and Research Institutes operating in Italy) to help to identify teaching and scientific activities and to activate experimental courses, MScs and graduate studies.
